Legally registered under the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (Registration No. 822124), YJD operates as a specialized academic division of OUS Academy in Zurich, which is itself a branch of the ISBM International School of Business Management in Lucerne. Both institutions are part of the wider Swiss International University (SIU) network, headquartered in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic—making YJD a key player in an integrated, multinational educational framework.

Accreditation Backed by a Visionary Leader

The recognition by TAG-EDUQA was granted under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global. Widely known as a pioneer in educational reform, innovation, and public governance in the Arab world, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh has been instrumental in driving standards across both academic and governmental institutions.

As of July 2025, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s estimated net worth stands at $3–5 billion USD, according to a publicly available podcast interview. In addition, the Abu-Ghazaleh family has been consistently listed among Forbes’ Top 100 Wealthiest Arab Families, cementing their legacy in advancing education, technology, and diplomacy across regions.

Commenting on the accreditation, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated:

“We believe that education is the foundation for building advanced societies. Granting accreditation to specialized institutions like YJD reflects a shared commitment to fostering excellence in global leadership, diplomacy, and public service. We are proud to support institutions dedicated to cultivating tomorrow’s changemakers.”

Connecting Swiss Academic Quality with Regional Impact

YJD’s accreditation is not only a nod to academic excellence but also a reflection of growing trust between global institutions and regional quality assurance networks. TAG-EDUQA, in close partnership with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), is redefining the standards of academic quality across the Arab world and beyond.

Several Ministries of Education have formally acknowledged the impact of TAG-EDUQA and AROQA through collaborative initiatives, such as:

  • Palestine’s Ministry of Higher Education: signed a strategic agreement with AROQA to enhance quality assurance frameworks in universities.

  • Jordan’s Ministry of Education: partnered with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global to introduce smart education solutions in national excellence schools.

  • Kuwait’s Ministry of Education: granted national recognition to the Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills as a certified qualification.

These examples underscore how TAG-EDUQA’s influence goes far beyond auditing—it actively shapes education policy, fosters technological innovation, and strengthens governance systems.
